Celebratory Moments

Easter Celebrations
Easter was joyfully celebrated this past month across all B Loved group homes in Addis and Sodo. The children enthusiastically helped with preparations, and the celebrations were filled with laughter and happiness. In Sodo, some children also participated in church fasting, prayer fellowship, and Sunday worship services.
Spiritual Support and Community Engagement
At B Loved, we prioritize spiritual support for our children. In Sodo, many children are attending Saturday discipleship and Master Life Classes, while older children in Addis participate in student fellowship programs. Additionally, our kids receive individual and group counseling, and older children benefit from mentorship programs with social workers.
Heartwarming Reunion
One of our Sodo girls, Lakech Lema, experienced a touching reunion with her distant relatives, arranged by our dedicated project director, project mom, and social worker. This meeting provided insight into Lakech's background and brought her psychological healing, resulting in an emotional and joyous occasion.
Community Mobilization in Sodo
In May 2024, B Loved Ethiopia's social workers collaborated with the youth group from Sodo Stadium Kale Hiwot Church. Together, they assisted in feeding and providing medical examinations to 120 street children, organized a blood donation event, and held a worship evening.
Moms' Training Session
Our project director led a half-day reorientation session for the group home moms. This session included experience sharing and fostering a learning environment where each mom could gain valuable insights from others.
Bishoftu Get-Together
In Bishoftu, all children are doing well. B Loved hosted a special get-together at the holistic center, featuring an outdoor cooking program. This event promoted peer interactions, provided a break from daily routines, and cultivated a warm, nurturing atmosphere for the children, staff, and invited guests.
Holistic Center Construction
Significant progress has been made on the B Loved Holistic Center construction, with the focus now on completing the second and final floor of the main building. We are excited to share a photo showcasing the current status of the building!
Horticulture Farming and Egg Production
Our horticulture farming at the center continues to thrive, generating income for holistic care and youth empowerment. We are cultivating various vegetables, including carrots, onions, and cabbage. Additionally, our 998 hens have begun laying eggs, marking a significant milestone for this income-generating venture with promising potential for further growth.
If you haven't sponsored a child, we encourage you to take action today!
By sponsoring a child through B Loved Ethiopia, you directly contribute to providing holistic care, education, and emotional support to vulnerable children. In addition to basic food and shelter, your sponsorship helps us offer vital resources such as individual and group counseling, spiritual discipleship classes, and engaging community activities. Together, we can empower these children to thrive, ensuring they have the opportunities and support they need to build a brighter future. Join us in making a lasting impact on their lives—become a sponsor today and help transform hope into reality.
