There’s No Place Like Home

This past month has been very busy and full of wonderful accomplishments.
We had 16 guests from Texas come visit from High Ridge Church’s mission team.
We all had a wonderful time exploring the city together and visited Ethiopian zoos, museums, and hiked in the mountains with the kids. It was a wonderful visit and we look forward to the next trip.
Student Conference
B Loved conducted a student conference in Sodo and Addis. The objective of the conference was to empower students for Life. The following topics were discussed:
· Knowing God’s purpose to life
· Overcoming peer pressure
· How to get relief from stress and others
Around 350 students came from different denominations and the feedback received was that the conference was wonderful and life changing.

The construction of two new group homes have been completed!
It was officially inaugurated on August 29, 2019 in the presence of many guests who came from different government sectors (Zone & Woreda BOFED , WCA and Mayors), board representatives and LYDA consultant agency. During the inauguration, the representative of the town mayor delivered a short speech and promised to work hand in hand with us.
16 children have been moved into the newly constructed homes and are getting settled in!
WE ALSO WANT TO WELCOME A NEW MEMBER TO THE B LOVED FAMILY!
After a slight delay, B Loved has officially admitted one new beneficiary this month. Her name is Tesfanesh Omataae. She is 9 years old and has not been able to go to school due to family problems. We are proud to say that the total number of kids at B Loved has now raised to 57 (20 Females and 37 Males).
Our main challenges this month are recovering costs from our travels to Addis for the student conference, and also the power source for our new group homes. We have discussed a few options with the town mayor on how they can help and are exploring different options for minimizing costs. If you would like to make a general donation to help us in these specific areas of need, we would truly appreciate any support.
